Resource: Helping Your Skier to Thrive

Communicating with Athlete Families

Communicating with AVSC families is of paramount importance so that families feel informed and understand the expectations and schedules for their athlete. Weekly emails from lead coaches will go out each Friday with schedules for the following week, any other relevant information for the week, and reminders for important upcoming dates. Team WhatsApp groups will be used to communicate last minute information and share video and photos from sessions. Please connect with your child's coach about the link to the group WhatsApp.

Weekly Training Plans

Lead coaches will send an email out on friday of each week with a training schedule for the following week.

Athletes may be required to sign up for a membership in a governing body organization in order to compete. Please review this resource and touch base with your athlete's coach.
