SPRING BREAK CAMP

This camp is a fun continuation of the ski season or an introduction to ski racing for newcomers. It will be a great week of learning for both kids who want to extend their ski season or are thinking about joining the Alpine Team programs next year. The camp will consist of directed free-skiing, Slalom and Giant Slalom training, and will finish with a fun Dual SL race. Come join us for an exciting week of Spring skiing and training! Please note, Aspen Skiing Company lift passes are required and not included in the program cost. Athletes must be at least a level 7 skier and able to ride the lift without adult supervision.

SPRING BREAK CAMP DETAILS:
Tuesday, March 26 - Friday, March 29 (4 days)
9 a.m. - 3 p.m. each day

ELIGIBILITY: 7-12-year-olds enrolled in Devo, Pre Devo, Level 7 and above.
COST: $395 for AVSC athletes ($650 for guest athletes)
LOCATION: Aspen Highlands and Tiehack
Please note: Competitive Athletes will continue to train with their groups over these dates. Coaches will communicate Spring Break Schedules.

Schedule:
Tuesday - Free Ski Day - Free Ski Day
9:00 - registration at the AVSC Clubhouse (300 AVSC Drive)
9:30 - load the Five Trees Lift from the club
9:30 - 12:00 - free ski with your group on Highlands
12:00 - 1:00 - lunch at the Merry Go Round (please bring lunch money or a bag lunch)
1:00 - 3:00 - free ski with your group on Highlands
3:00 - pick up at the AVSC clubhouse
 
Wednesday - Giant Slalom Day
9:00 - meet the coaches at the bottom of Tiehack Lift
9:00 - 11:30 - introduction to GS training
11:030 - 12:30 - lunch at the Cliff House  (please bring lunch money, resort charge, or a bag lunch)
12:30 - 3:00 - Train GS
3:00 - pick up at the Bottom of Tiehack

Thursday - Slalom Day
9:00 - meet the coaches at the bottom of Tiehack Lift
9:00 - 11:30 - introduction to SL training
11:30 - 12:30 - lunch at the Cliff House  (please bring lunch money, resort charge, or a bag lunch)
12:30 - 3:00 - train SL
3:00 - pick up at the Bottom of Tiehack

Friday - Dual SL Day
9:00 - meet the coaches at the bottom of Tiehack Lift
9:00 - 11:30 - introduction to Dual format racing
11:30 - 12:30 - lunch at the Merry Go Round (please bring lunch money or a bag lunch)
12:30 - 3:00 – Race Duals
3:00 - pick up at the bottom of Tiehack Lift

Refund policy: Full refunds are permitted up to 14 days prior to the start of the camp or program. Full refunds will be subject to a $25 processing fee.
