AVSC ALPINE SUMMER CAMPS
JUNE CAMP, MT. HOOD, OREGON
June 10-23, 2012
Open to U14 and older athletes with two distinct schedules and camps.
U12 athletes born in 2001 will be considered on a case by case basis.
The camps provide focus on fundamental skill acquisition and assimilation, GS tactics on flats and terrain while providing contact with home coaches to provide continuity from the previous season to the next. Daily afternoon activities, equipment testing and evening video and ski tuning are also a part of the curriculum.
STAFF: Greg Needell, AVSC Alpine Director. Kent Towlerton, AVSC Head Ability Coach. 2 additional AVSC coaches TBD based on numbers of athletes and availability of staff.
SCHEDULE
June 10-11, 2012: Travel to Oregon, AVSC vehicles

June 12-14: on snow, fundamentals and GS tactics
June 15: off
June 16-18: On snow, continued GS training with emphasis on tactics and terrain
June 19: Arrive in Aspen
U16 AND OLDER CAMP- $2200 Click Here to Register!

June 17: off
June 18-22: On snow, continued GS training with emphasis on tactics and terrain
June 23: arrive in Aspen
Camp cost is all-inclusive except for food while driving to and from Mt. Hood.
** Please register by May 15 with a deposit of $250 to hold a spot. Deposit is non-refundable. We will accept registrations after May 15 if space is available. Space is limited so please register as soon as possible.
