Welcome to the Paralympic Development Program - Aspen Homepage!
This unique program is a full time residency-training program for emerging athletes in the Paralympic Alpine skiing pipeline. It is the first time a Paralympic Adaptive Program has integrated with an existing USSA Club to create this high level Alpine Skiing Competition Program. Our goal is to recruit, train, develop, and support the best adaptive ski racers in the U.S. During this year round program, our athletes live and train in Aspen, Colorado from November through April and during the summer months have options to attend various training camps around the country. They will compete in national and international events, including the Paralympics and World Championships.
The Program is open to any disabled athlete, male or female, who has potential and drive, and wants to learn to ski race, or is an already seasoned competitor wanting to hone his or her skills.
